The distinctive, knit like structure of this woven cloth fascinates connoisseurs since a long time and should not be missing in well-assorted wardrobes. There are only two weaving mills left in Italy, who are able to produce this cloth on very time-honored weaving looms, which date partly from the 1920`s. Impressing is also, that it takes one full hour to weave one meter of this exceptionally textured cloth. Generally, one distinguishes between two different versions, the “Garza fina” and the “Garza grossa”.
